My uncle deeded me a  Wyndham Timeshare that I have had for several years. I’m happy that it goes by points, although my home unit is in Maryland. I definitely have mixed feelings about it. I could probably rent a cottage near the Ocean for what I pay in maintenance fees. That would be a cottage where and when I want. Sometimes the units are great and sometimes they seem shabby and dated. I no longer go to any of the presentations and nobody is too pushy about it anymore. One of the things I like is that with the points, we sometimes check out places we otherwise would not have. Timeshares are not terrible if you have a lot of money for maintenance fees and are very patient in not knowing exactly what your gonna get everytime!
